At the end of July the Annual Bahá’í Scottish Summer School was held within the beautiful surroundings of Strathallan School in Perthshire, and one of the many Bahá’í Summer Schools takening place throughout the United Kingdom and indeed throughout the world during July and August.With residents and day visitors coming together to share in the wonderful experience that is The Scottish Summer School. Participants from around the world, Scotland and other parts of the United Kingdom gave an international flavour to the gathering.

The theme of the summer School this year was: “Light to the World” reflecting on the life of Bahá’u’lláh, His teachings and their implications not only in Scotland but throughout the world.

There where many programmes including interesting, talks and workshops on singing, dancing and drama, there was something for both adults, youth and children. Developing the true potential of young people, Community development, Family, The nature of prayer & collective worship.

Children and Junior Youth classes ran alongside the adult programmes and provided a stimulating experience for the young people.
